Nexpress is a new service for borrowing pdfs of journal articles not held by Vassar. Starting spring semester 2008, when you click on the Order on Interlibrary Loan link on the Search for Fulltext results page, you'll be asked to log into your circulation record using your username and barcode. That's all you need to do to make the request.
If the article is filled by a Nexpress member library (Bates, Bowdoin, Colby, Middlebury, Northeastern, Vassar, Wellesley, and Williams), you'll get an email directing you to log into your circulation record to retrieve a pdf of the article. Articles should arrive within 24 hours and will stay in your account for 30 days. If the article can't be supplied by a Nexpress member library, it will automatically pass into your ILLiad account. If your request transfers to ILLiad and you don't have an account, Interlibrary loan staff will create one for you. Most ILLiad requests are also supplied electronically. The email you receive will direct you to log into your ILLiad account. If the article is supplied in paper, you'll get it via campus mail. You may still use ILLiad to make article requests by logging directly into your ILLiad account.
