The Art Library will be closed for renovation for the 2008-2009 academic year.  There will be no access to the Art Library or Stack III.

Senior art thesis writers will not be assigned carrels for this period.

Where can I check out Art Books?

Art materials will be checked out from and returned to the Main Library circulation desk. Holds and recalls, book searches, etc., should also be done at the Main Library circulation desk.

Where are the Art Library Reserves?

Art Library reserves will be available in the Main Library reserve room.

Faculty who need to put material on reserve should leave the items on Ellie Davies’ desk in the main workroom or at the Reserve Desk with their name and course number.  For more information about putting material on reserve, contact Ellie Davies, eldavies@vassar.edu (ex. 5790)

Who will be doing Reference and Instruction for Art?

Tom Hill, Art Librarian, will be on leave Sept. 20, 2008-Jan. 5, 2009.   During Tom's absence, Gretchen Lieb will assume art reference and instruction duties.
