Art library research services

Thomas Hill, the Art Librarian, is generally available between 8:30 and 5:00 p.m. weekdays in the Art Library for walk-up assistance with art resources. He is also available for in-depth research consultations, which are best made by appointment. He can be reached at x5791, or at thhill@vassar.edu.

Instruction

The Art Librarian is available to provide instructional classes in art historical research and methodology to faculty upon request. In addition, evening instructional workshops are given each term to art majors preparing their senior theses, and general art research workshops are scheduled during the second week after mid-term breaks (see postings in the Art Library for dates & times), which are open to all students. The Art Librarian is also available for the planning of course assignments and to assist in course design.
