Vassar has been a Federal Depository Library for selected U.S. Government documents since 1943, currently receiving about 25% of the titles available through the Federal Depository Program. Documents added to the "Documents Collection" are arranged by Superintendent of Documents (Su Doc) call numbers. Some are in the Main Library collection (Library of Congress call numbers) Many are available electronically. Our U.S. documents are available to the public.
Vassar has been a New York State Reference Center (New York Depository Program) since 1988. State documents can be accessed through the online catalog. Or go to the New York State Library website to access electronic documents. Our New York State documents are available to the public.
