Borrowing from other Libraries
Use ConnectNY or ILLiad to borrow or obtain or purchase materials not found in Vassar's collection. Use ILLiad to make requests for materials from the Center for Research Libraries collection.
Interlibrary Loan services are only available to the Vassar College community.
Materials with due dates should be checked out at and returned to the Main circulation desk. Photocopies or electronic versions of journal articles are yours to keep. For more information, see the ILL FAQ.
For optimal results:
- start your research early and submit requests well in advance of deadlines.
- when you order materials from the Center for Research Libraries, use the BOOK form, include the OCLC # that is on all CRL records and enter CRL in the box labeled "Where did you find this item cited?"
