Use Interlibrary Loan (ConnectNY or ILLiad) to borrow or purchase items not found in Vassar's collection. This service is only available to VC faculty, administrators, staff and currently enrolled students. For best results, start early!

Before ordering from ConnectNY or ILLiad, make sure items are not at Vassar:

Books: Check online catalog.
Articles: Check for journal title in online catalog.

Check out/return items with due dates at Circulation Desk. Keep photocopies or electronic versions of journal articles. For more information, see ILL FAQ.

Guidelines for Choosing Correct Interlibrary Loan Service

Journal Articles	ILLiad	7-14 working days	Not applicable
Center for Research Libraries' material	ILLiad Use BOOK form; include OCLC# from CRL record; enter CRL in "Where did you find this item cited" box.	Depends	Yes. Use ILLiad's renewal.
Dissertations (U.S.) (note: usual cost, $29)	ILLiad	7-14 working days	Not applicable
