Vassar College Libraries now has access to OverDrive
Overdrive is an online platform that allows users to borrow and read ebooks. As a complement to the print Browsing Collection, the collection will consist of popular and casual reading, bestsellers, and titles recommended by Vassar students, faculty, and staff. The collection is small now, but we will add to it regularly.
Some useful information:
Login with your Vassar credentials.
You can read online, on the Overdrive ebook reader, Libby, or the Kindle app
Checkout is for 14 days, after which the book will be automatically returned. Books can be returned anytime before that.
You can borrow up to 5 books at a time.
The books in Overdrive are only available to one person at a time.
Recommending titles for purchase in Overdrive is easy!
Currently, we don't have records for Overdrive titles in the library catalog, but we’ll be working to include them in the near future.

Overdrive contains only a small portion of ebooks accessible from the library. Hundreds of books from other ebook vendors are findable in Discover and the library catalog, many of which can be used by multiple readers simultaneously.
