  • Congressional Record Permanent Digital Edition
    The Congressional Record began publication in 1873.  From 1789 to 1873, the debates of Congress were covered in the Annals of Congress, the Register of Debates, and the Congressional Globe. This resource contains the Congressional Record as well as its 3 predecessors.

Vassar has the following print volumes:

  • The Congressional Record (Main J 11.R5) 1873-current.
    V. 1, 1873-v.122, pt. 29, 1976, in Main; v.123, 1977, of permanent ed. with index in US Doc Microfiche collection.  Library also receives daily edition with index, kept in Main until replaced by microfiche of permanent ed.

  • Register of Debates in Congress (Main J 11.D5)  1824-1833.
