Books (dvds, music scores, etc.) cataloged for the library's collection are assigned subject headings as a way to classify and categorize materials on the same subject. The headings below illustrate the hierarchical structure of the system.
If Vassar doesn't have books on your subject, doesn't own the book you need, or if our copy is checked out or missing, check to see if one of the ConnectNY libraries own it. Place the request using the barcode on the back of your ID card.
