This is a guide to finding maps and atlases in print and online.

Print Maps and Maps on Microfilm

Search for maps and atlases in our online catalog using some of the following subject headings:

  • Maps (or maps as a subdivision following a geographic name)
  • Atlases
  • Aeronautical charts
  • Historical geography--Maps
  • Topographic maps
  • World maps

Many of our printed maps are in the U.S. Government Documents collection.

Collections of maps in book form are kept in the Reference collection and also in the Main collection. Check the online catalog for their location and call numbers.
