A research consultation is an in-depth conversation with a librarian that's focused on what you need, no matter where you are in your research process. Librarians can meet with you in person or over Zoom. We are also happy to meet with researchers individually or in small groups; if you'd like to schedule a small-group consultation, only one participant needs to fill out the form. 

Research consultations aren't just for research papers! We can also help with fellowship applications and grant proposals, scholarly publishing, creative projects, library overviews for research assistants, and course or assignment development. 

Research help is available from the librarians in the George Sherman Dickinson Music Library, located in Skinner Hall. Email Music Librarian Sarah Canino (sacanino@vassar.edu) for research help or to make an appointment for a research consultation. Walk-in help is available in the Music Library on weekdays, 8:30 AM-5 PM (1-4 PM during breaks).
