Do you have ideas about how to improve the Vassar Libraries for students? Here's your chance to get involved!
This spring, we're launching a new Student Library Initiatives Group, and all interested students are welcome to participate. Explore the Libraries; engage with issues and opportunities that matter to you; and develop projects and programs that empower all Vassar students to experience the Libraries as welcoming, supportive, and transformative. Check out this page for more information and to fill out the form to express your interest.
We're also hosting an information session (with pizza!) on January 24, 5:30-6:30 in the Class of 1951 Reading Room. Come to this session to learn more about the group, ask questions, and chat with library folks and other interested students. (Did we mention that there will be pizza?)
The deadline to fill out the interest form is February 2--and you don't need to attend the info session to get involved! If you have questions about the SLIG*, contact Melanie Maksin, Head of Academic Engagement in the Libraries.
* We're not sure about the name of the group and the acronym...the first order of business for participants will be to choose a name that they like!
