The Week of 10/30 at the Library: Zines, Pumpkins, and Digital Preservation

The week of October 30 will be very busy at the Vassar Libraries! We hope you'll take some time to get creative, enjoy treats, and have fun with vintage tech (including games like Oregon Trail!) with us.

Did you know that we have a zine collection? Here's an opportunity to explore the world of zines and to try your hand at zine-making as a creative, reflective, and fun practice. We'll provide pizza from Bacio, art supplies, and inspiration.

This event is co-sponsored by the Vassar College Libraries and the Office of Residential Life, as part of the H.O.M.E. program. Students who attend will receive $20 in Brewer Bucks.

Do you wish that Halloweekend could be just a little longer this year? Stop by the lobby of the Main Library to keep the festivities going! We'll have mini pumpkins, art supplies, other crafts, and candy (of course).

World Digital Preservation Day (for everyone)

Celebrate World Digital Preservation Day by playing preserved arcade games, viewing a vintage tech exhibition, and browsing our digital salon of resources while enjoying sweet treats. There will also be stickers!
