Student borrowing privileges expire the last day of spring semester.

Students who will be on campus or residing in the local Poughkeepsie area for the summer can request borrowing privileges over the summer, which begin the first workday after graduation.

Note: Students must have a clear Circulation Record i.e No fines or Billed Books.

Please come to the Main Circulation Desk and request a paper form or print this PDF form and return it to the Main Circulation Desk. You can also fill out this online summer student borrowing form. If you need a print quota, contact the Card Office. 

Graduated Seniors must arrange for an alumni card through the Card Office and must also fill out a library guest borrower application.  

Summer Program Directors determine whether or not their participants are eligible for borrowing privileges. The library will not grant privileges to summer program participants without written confirmation from the program's director.
