Before filling out this form, check the item in the online catalog

  1. Does the item Location
    • Main Reserve or Art Reserve?
      » If yes, it is shelved at the Reserve Desk, where you can request it and check it out.
    • Art?
      » If yes, be sure you’re looking in the correct section.
    • Archive/SpecColl?
      » If yes, please contact the Archives & Special Collections Library to inquire about accessing the resource.
    • Annex?
      » If yes, return to the item listing and place a request for the library to get the item for you from our remote storage location (this requires you to have a Vassar login).
  2. Does the item Status
    • On Loan?
      » If yes, either recall it or (books only) borrow it through ILLiad.
    • On Hold?
      » If yes, (books only) borrow it through ILLiad.
    • In Transit?
      » If yes, ask the circulation staff if it’s on a return truck behind the desk, then check Room 60 (the Reshelving Room).
