To recall an item in the catalog that is checked out, use the RECALL button on the checked-out item's record in the online catalog.
If you need assistance recalling a book, please speak with a research librarian or a circulation desk staff member.
TIP: Instead of recalling the book you need, try your search in ConnectNY: if the book is available there, you're likely to receive it more quickly.
Books that are in our Annex are identified in the online catalog by the location "Annex." To request a book from the Annex, click on the red button at the top of the record and log into your account to complete your request.
If you make a request before 1:30 p.m., the book should be available the next day (M-F). You will receive an email notifying you when the book is available. You may pick it up at the Circulation & Reserves Desk.
