National Archives: Americans with Disabilities Act
The National Archives holds many records that relate to American citizens with disabilities. From personal letters to historic legislation, these records provide insight into efforts over the past century to establish programs and to protect the rights of people with disabilities.

Data Collections

Archive of Data on Disability to Enable Policy
The Archive of Data on Disability to Enable Policy and research (ADDEP) is a joint initiative of the Center for Large Data Research and Data Sharing in Rehabilitation (CLDR) and ICPSR. ADDEP will bring together existing disability data already available at ICPSR with newly acquired data from rehabilitation medicine and related areas.
Annual Disability Compendium: Institute on Disability at the University of New Hampshire
Research draws upon data from major national survey data (such as the ACS, CPS, NHIS, and SIPP) and the administrative records of government programs (such as SSDI, SSI, federal/state VR programs). Includes a few international disability statistics.
