Index of articles from scholarly journals spanning the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities. Provides cited reference searching capability.

Provides full text online access to back issues of selected scholarly journals in history, economics, political science, architecture and art history and other fields. Consult the online tables of contents for holdings, as coverage varies for each title, but usually ends several years before the current year.

Statistics, Data, and Reports

International Activities Program, U.S. Dept. of Ed.
The IAP provides international comparative data on education and learning, in support of U.S. participation in international studies of student knowledge and adult skills. Studies and programs include PIRLS (Progress in International Reading Literacy Study) and PISA (Program for International Student Assessment).
International Education Statistics Websites
A directory of education statistics websites from around the world, maintained by the National Center for Education Statistics (U.S.).
Eurydice (European Commission)
This resource focuses on how education systems are organized in Europe and how they work. The site includes descriptions of national education systems, comparative studies devoted to specific topics, and indicators and statistics in the field of education.
Institute for Statistics (UNESCO)
Features comparative education statistics as well as news and reports related to education trends and issues.
Global Education Monitoring Report (UNESCO)
Established in 2002, the GEM Report is an editorially independent report, hosted and published by UNESCO. In addition to providing reports and data addressing countries' progress toward Sustainable Development Goals related to education, the site also includes profiles of countries' laws and policies on key themes in education.
EdStats (World Bank)
The World Bank EdStats Portal (Education Statistics Portal) allows for access to data for key indicators in education, including access, completion, learning outcomes, expenditures, policy, and equity. The World Bank's data catalog also includes the Global Dataset of Country Learning Outcomes and other datasets relevant to educational research.

ICPSR
ICPSR (Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research) maintains a data archive of more than 250,000 files of research in the social and behavioral sciences. It hosts 21 specialized collections of data in education, aging, criminal justice, substance abuse, terrorism, and other fields.
