Introduction to OpenRefine

OpenRefine is a free open source tool designed specifically for cleaning and organizing your data with features for fixing errors, data normalization, transforming your data, and tracking your operations. 

Installation Instructions

OpenRefine will automatically run in your default browser and works best in Chrome and Firefox. OpenRefine does not require an internet connection. 

You may need to modify your system preferences/ permissions to allow OpenRefine to open once installed. If OpenRefine is running, you can also point your browser to http://127.0.0.1:3333. You can use OpenRefine in several browser tabs and windows.
