Theologian and civil rights leader Howard Thurman gave approximately a dozen speeches at Vassar College between 1928 and 1950, and his daughter, Olive Thurman, graduated from the college in 1948. This guide was created to support the research being done by students in Professor Jonathon Kahn's class on Howard Thurman and Vassar.
