Online and Print Reference Works

Dictionaries and encyclopedias are considered reference works; we refer to them to get quick facts or an overview of a topic. Most of the links on this page go to the reference works that the Library happens to own in an electronic format, but a few links direct you to the print copy available in the Library's reference collection.
