Consult the Collected Works, IF there is one for the composer you are studying. This can be useful to performers. Look on the 05 section on Floor 1 or ask a librarian for help.

Once you find a work by a composer In the Collected Works, see what their performance intentions were.

• Find various recorded performances through the Vassar Music Library collection in the Vassar College Libraries' Online catalog and the Music Library card catalog (first floor, Music Library).  Then compare them.
