Interlibrary Loan

Use Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad) to borrow or purchase items not found in Vassar's collection.

May I Renew Loans?

SUNY+: items may not be renewed. You may, however, make a new request for the same title, and we will attempt to fill it from another library.

ILLiad: You may request a renewal within your ILLiad account prior to the due date, but not all items will be renewable. If you still need a renewal after the due date has passed, please email ill@vassar.edu and we will attempt to accommodate you.

How Do I Renew?

ILLiad: Log into your ILLiad account and use "View/Renew Checked-out Items".

What If I Wait Until After The Due Date?

ILLiad: Email your renewal request to ill@vassar.edu or call the Interlibrary Loan Office at 437-5765. If the item can't be renewed, you'll be sent a recall notice via email. Otherwise, after a day or two, check your ILLiad account for the new renewal date issued from the lending library.
