GETTING STARTED

This guide presents a selection of resources to help you get started with economics research. Use the menu on the left to navigate through the different sections of this guide.

Economics research requires a variety of sources:

  • Reference sources and books may provide you with historical information and materials pertaining to theory and methods
  • Working papers and articles may analyze theory, present new models and research findings
  • Data and statistics may support or disprove ideas, or provide evidence to your own research

Begin with Library Search to explore the resources available to you. 

OFF CAMPUS ACCESS

Access subscription databases and ereserves from off campus through the proxy server. Log in using your Vassar OneLogin credentials. If you have problems, email proxysupport@vassar.edu. Once you log in successfully, you will be taken to the Libraries' home page. If you are already on campus, you'll simply be taken to the Libraries' home page.
