Resources and tips for Economics research

LOCATING BOOKS

Economics research is primarily communicated through working papers and articles, however books can provide you with background information to contextualize your research, and are excellent sources for theoretical and historical information. 

The library holds a wide selection of books and ebooks covering the basics of economics, theory, history, various subfields and multidisciplinary approaches. 

Use Vassar Library Search to locate books and ebooks.

  1. Start with a keyword search, or search by title, author or subject.
  2. Use the filters on the left side to filter by, 
    1. Availability: select Available Online or Physical Collections
    2. Resource Type: select Books or Book Chapters
