Grants for Researchers
Overview
With the support of Charlotte I. Hall (VC '54), the Vassar College Archives & Special Collections Library is pleased to offer grants for researchers who would like to use our collections on-site.
Eligibility
The grants are available to undergraduate and graduate students, independent scholars, and faculty attached to academic institutions. Preference will be given to applicants outside a 100 mile radius of the college.
Amount and Duration
Grants are typically awarded in amounts up to $1,000.
Timetable
Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis.

Applications
Applicants should send the following materials to Ronald Patkus, Associate Director of the Libraries for Special Collections (patkus@vassar.edu):

Letter describing the research project, and how the collections at Vassar will support it. Please include a list of materials you would like to consult, along with some indication of how much time you will spend with each. Not to exceed two pages.

Curriculum Vitae, with names and contact information of two references. Not to exceed two pages.

Budget, detailing amount of funds requested, and how they will be used. Not to exceed one page.
