Physical copies of theses are cataloged in the Libraries' online catalog and are housed in the annex.
To find a senior thesis in the catalog you can search by author or title if you know them. If you only know part of the title try an advanced search with a word you know in "keyword" and limit the location to "Archive/SpecColl (Thesis)."
To request a thesis, contact the Archives and Special Collections Library staff. If you make a request before 1:30 p.m., the thesis should be available the next business day (M-F). You will receive an email when your thesis has arrived.
Members of the Vassar community (students, faculty, staff and administrators) may view theses in the Archives and Special Collections Library.
Copying of theses, in whole or in part, regardless of format, requires permission of the author. It is the researcher's responsibility to contact the author and gain that permission.
Researchers outside of the Vassar community (including alumnae/i) must receive permission from the author to view or copy theses.
You can search the Vassar Scholarship Repository to find a specific thesis (also referred to as a capstone project), or you can browse by author or department.
Information about digital theses may also be available in the Libraries' online catalog.
If a digital thesis is available only to the Vassar community, you will need to log into the Digital Library with your Vassar account. If you no longer have a Vassar account contact the Archives and Special Collections Department.

Transfer of Senior Theses
All theses transferred to the Archives and Special Collections Library will be accessible according to the policies above.
Departments who would like to transfer some or all of their senior theses should first contact the Archives and Special Collections Library staff.
You will then be asked to fill out a Records Transfer Form.
Once your form has been received, you can fill out a work order to have Buildings and Grounds transfer the materials to the Library for cataloging.
